This is an ongoing series that combines practices of community song, rhythm, movement, and intention.
Communal song, rhythm, movement in circle has been a resource for humans across cultures, across time. This practice is about reclaiming music-making as a community way that belongs to everyone! (not just trained musicians).
Each week I will guide us through simple warm-up movements, rhythms, and vocalizations in circle, attuning as a ‘hive’. We’ll also learn short, affirmational songs about healing, courage, resilience, the Earth, love and devotion.
No previous singing experience is required. This is not about performance or sounding good. It’s about intention, presence, playfulness, and community care.
