Chrysalis

Chrysalis is a 3-month container of one-on-one support through transformative change. I approach this as a shared space of inquiry, deep listening, and skill-building.

  • What is the primary living tension you want to focus on?

  • What wants movement? What wants to emerge?

  • What’s in the way?

  • How do we approach opening the way?

I specialize in working with women and non-binary folks who resonate with working through the Feminine Principle.

My Approach

The place where we most experience our living tension provides the door to our work together. In any given struggle there are many forces at play - relational, historical, ancestral, socio-cultural, political, geographical, mythical. In this space we are taking an introspective look within, mostly at your relationship with you. The process we engage is intended to empower your sense of rooted presence and stability through whatever you face ‘out there’, through deeper self-knowing, compassionate awareness, self-trust, and personal integrity.

There are many different approaches to this. I specialize in opening pathways of relating and communication with different parts of ourselves, and with important people in our lives, including our partners, families, workspaces and community groups.

My approach is based in:

Compassionate Awareness - If we want breakthroughs, we have to find deeper honesty with ourselves. To get more honest, we have to face the risk of loss. To face this risk, we need a powerful stance of compassion. We put parts of our truth into exile for good reasons. Building this muscle of compassion is building an inner sanctuary where all of our hidden truths know it is safe to come out and be seen. No harm will come to them. We begin to feel less split inside, and our actions become more aligned, and our presence becomes more steady regardless of external conditions.

Body as a Vessel of Wisdom - Our body doesn’t lie. It tells us what’s most true about how we are experiencing this moment. By learning it’s language, we can be guided in how to pace our lives gently, how to heal ourselves, and how to trust ourselves in major life choices. I believe our body is a treasury of deep and ancient wisdom, Ancestral wisdom. Approaching our bodies with greater reverence and curiosity is transformative and revolutionary.

Values and Agreements - Building a Sovereign self that can form healthy connections with others requires we know our ground. Our ground is constructed through knowing ourselves, and deciding what we value and the agreements we want to live by. These values and agreements become our devotional practice to Life and all of our relationships. Practicing integrity with our own, chosen vows is the true source of our authentic confidence and power, beyond external criticisms or accolades.

Building Relationality - This is a way of approaching self-integration and empowerment outside of binary thinking. Binary frameworks tell us that some parts of us are bad and some are good, we feel shame about the bad parts, and we reject and exile them. This creates splits within, and cuts us off from reservoirs of our inner wisdom and vital energy. The approach here is simply to create relationality. When we contact a place in us that feels confused, stuck or scared, we open pathways of relationship with the parts of us that have clarity and courage. Reservoirs of inner resource and insight can get unlocked through the dance between them.
